Financial Conduct Authority awards five year contract to TSO

The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) has awarded a five year contract to TSO, part of the Williams Lea Group, to publish the FCA Handbook online and in print.

TSO will develop and host a more user-friendly FCA Handbook website to present the provisions made by the FCA, which is due to go live in August 2015. TSO will also provide a managed publishing solution to publish and consolidate updates made by the FCA Board Instruments, both online and in the print edition of the Handbook. The FCA will benefit from TSO’s experience in providing user-focused, innovative, accurate and resilient web solutions, demonstrated in recent developments for www.legislation.gov.uk and www.thegazette.co.uk, as well as a long heritage in providing no-fail publishing solutions.

Emma Stranack, Head of Department, Consumer Communications and Engagement, said “The FCA Handbook is an important resource for regulated firms, and we are looking forward to working with TSO in particular to deliver a website that will better meet their needs.”

Marco Pierleoni, Chief Executive of TSO said “The contract brings together capabilities from across our business, including web development, infrastructure, editing, publishing, print on demand and contact centre. The whole team are delighted to be working with the FCA and look forward to developing a user-friendly, innovative and accurate FCA Handbook.”
