The London Gazette used to create Dick Turpin e-fit
Police have used information from the London Gazette to create an e-fit image of Dick Turpin. The new image of the highwayman is based on descriptions of him included in the Gazette between 1735 and 1737.
The e-fit image was featured on the One show on 16 July 2009 and in The Sun
on 17 July 2009.
