On 2nd September the Policy Exchange published their report “Smaller, Better, Faster, Stronger: Remaking government for the digital age”
. The report considers the big changes that will be needed for Government to make the most of the opportunities presented by technology, data and the internet. Together, they estimate that these recommendations could save £70bn over five years.
We are delighted that legislation.gov.uk won the best ICT-enabled innovation and enterprise category at the recent UK Public Sector Digital Awards. Legislation.gov.uk was joint winner with the NHS North Central London Cluster Procurement Cooperative - NHS Camden Shared Services.
As digital publishing matures, much is made of content reuse. Rather than thinking in terms of books or even websites, increasingly content can be conceived of and delivered as a service. This service may be delivered via many formats open to us. Whatever the delivery method, content is the constant.
